Technical specifications
Accessibility of Larimer Campus Digital Collection relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:
- ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) landmarks for tabbing through page content, when not using a mouse or using a screen reader;

Limitations and alternatives
Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of Larimer Campus Digital Collection, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below. Known limitations for Larimer Campus Digital Collection:
- Archival scanned items as images: Uploaded images of archival files, especially text-based files, may not have text alternatives because our scanning technology does not currently have Optimal Character Recognition (OCR) options. We also did not realize the screen readers use file name as alt-text. We are editing the file name metadata to provide more accurate titles of images. We are trying OCR tools to make image scans useful for screen readers. Please contact us to request an OCR version of an item or alternative, or if you encounter inaccessible content or files.
Assessment approach
FRCC Harmony Library assessed the accessibility of Larimer Campus Digital Collection by the following approaches:
- Self-evaluation
- Online accessibility checkers
